25 Percent Cut to Electricity Bills

Monday, March 6, 2017

Starting this summer, the Ontario government is lowering the average cost of electricity bills for residential customers by 25%. Under the Fair Hydro Plan, all residential customers will benefit while customers with low incomes and those in some rural communities will receive larger savings.

The Ontario government has also said that over the next four years, rates will only increase with inflation.
