Join a group of knitters and crocheters for 2 hours of crafting and chatting. New knitters and crocheters welcome! Bring your current projects. Want to learn crochet? Finley, our crocheting Librarian, will be there to teach and have a fun monthly crochet project! Please register but drop-ins are welcome!

Registration starts: 03/20/2024 @ 12:00pm Registration end: 04/17/2024 @ 2:00pm Bring a craft you're working on or start a new project in this relaxed social program for senior adults. Crafts, conversation, and even a few laughs! Program meets biweekly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Learn about Arab-American artist Jordan Nassar and create a landscape collage inspired by his embroidered artworks.

    04/17/24 @ 4:00pm - 04/17/24 @ 7:00pm Sharpsburg Drop-ins welcome as space permits. Please register online or call the library at 412-828-9520 (CSCL) or 412-781-0783 (SCL). All supplies provided. Registration is required. Registration starts: 01/16/2024 @ 12:00pm Registration end: 04/17/2024 @ 4:00pm Hang out, make friends, and express yourself with Mr. James! We'll have open Teen Space hours every Wednesday where you can use any of the equipment, including our Cricut cutting machine and iMac. For teens in grades 7-12. The library has a brand new Teen Space just for grades 7th and up! Come play videogames – we have a Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5! There is also lots of creative technology resources on hand and a librarian who knows how to use them: make a beat, create a meme, record a video, and more on some of the latest models of Mac computers. The Teen Space is also just a place to hang out and be yourself.
