Our new sign language instructor, Dustin Woods, has been signing for the past 4 years and for the last three of those four years he has also  been signing at his church, Safe Harbor Christian Church, located in Henryville, IN.   Even though the class is earmarked for adults, those ages 12 & up are welcome to attend.  Dustin's belief is that even though he is the instructor, he is there simply to help his students learn what they ultimately need and want to learn, not what he wants to teach them.  That's not to say that Dustin doesn't have creative teaching methods.  For example, at the beginning and end of each class, Dustin has everyone sign the letters (alpha) to the "Alphabet" song!  Simply put, it is Dustin's enthusiasm for his subject and the devotion he shows to his students that motivates them to keep coming back each week to his classes.
