Each month,  Hillcrest Village partners with a local restaurant to ensure we, The Lunch Bunch, have a lovely buffet lunch prior to our monthly speaker.  Our lunch is normally served between 11:00-11:30 a.m. and our speakers then begin their (45 minute to one-hour) presentation shortly thereafter.  Thank you, Hillcrest Village, for being so gracious to us!  Join us at the main library on this date when our featured speaker will be Linda Caldwell, a poet and playwright, who lives on a farm near Paint Lick, KY.  She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and did graduate work at the University of Kentucky.  Caldwell retired as a librarian from the Jefferson County School System.  She has been published in many journals and anthologies including Coe Review, Pearl, and Prairie Schooner, to name a few.  Caldwell will be reading from her new book of poetry, Home Place, and will have copies available for purchase.
