All library services are free with your MY Link card! Permanent Texas residents may join the library free of charge with proof of residency. Non-residents can purchase a temporary library card for $40/family, which is valid for 12 months.

In addition to our programs and events, you can enjoy computer access at all locations, indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi, reserve study and meeting rooms, take home tablets/laptops, and get activity kits for kids! This event amplifies literacy and fosters reading enjoyment for children from diverse cultural backgrounds while promoting family reading and enhancing understanding of other cultures. Enjoy bilingual story times in Chinese, Spanish, Persian, and Vietnamese, as well as live music, games, and crafts. Saadia Faruqi, the author of the Yasmin series, which follows the adventures of a spirited second grader will be onsite to share her experiences and insights into her writing process.
