This event amplifies literacy and fosters reading enjoyment for children from diverse cultural backgrounds while promoting family reading and enhancing understanding of other cultures. Enjoy bilingual story times in Chinese, Spanish, Persian, and Vietnamese, as well as live music, games, and crafts. Saadia Faruqi, the author of the Yasmin series, which follows the adventures of a spirited second grader will be onsite to share her experiences and insights into her writing process.
