Our goals are to promote an interest in genealogy, to instruct our members in careful, documented research and to publish genealogical and historical information in a newsletter six times a year. About NSGS

The meeting will be In Person at Wilmette Library. Non-members are welcome to all meetings. Monthly meetings are usually held on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Meeting location varies so please note where the meeting is held. Members: most meeting handouts are available on the Meeting Handouts page. Volunteers are available to help you with your family research. Our Society offers "Drop-in" help at local libraries. In addition, virtual Drop-In help is available upon request. Click HERE for more info. |
In addition to sharing fellowship with like-minded genealogists at the monthly meetings, members receive an informative newsletter six time a year. An additional benefit of membership is the opportunity to participate in one of our three Writers Groups and our DNA Discovery Group. The groups meet monthly.
