The film Selma is directed by Ava DuVernay and stars David Oyelowo as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Selma is based in 1965 when African-Americans were still fighting for equal rights. The 54 mile Selma marches that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and prominent civil rights leaders organized targeted voting rights, in particular, among other basic human rights. Stay for a short film documentary clip and discussion. Film is rated PG-13.
