ImagineIt: An Evening with Lisa Genova

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Event Details

Join us for an evening with bestselling author LISA GENOVA, interviewed by Nancy Runstedler.

Genova has captured a special place in contemporary fiction, writing stories that are equally inspired by the human spirit and neuroscience. Armed with a PhD in neuroscience from Harvard, she has written four bestselling novels, including Still Alice, Left Neglected, Love Anthony, and Inside the O’Briens.

Her fifth novel, Every Note Played, will be published in March, 2018.

Still Alice, originally self-published, was acquired by Simon and Schuster, sold more than 2 million copies, and was translated into 37 languages. This story of a woman living through an early Alzheimer’s diagnosis was later made into a movie for which Julianne Moore won a best actress Oscar.

Genova is also the recipient of several awards and honours for bringing awareness and education to Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s Disease, and conditions related to aging.

Copies of Ms. Genova’s book available for purchase.
