What's New in Technology

by Ed Rosenthal

Ed Rosenthal will present his very popular annual survey of emerging technologies. Sharing of the insights he gains from keeping tabs on new developments in the computing and digital imaging scenes will provide us all with a glimpse of what new tools will soon be available to leverage in our favorite obsession — genealogy!

Ed Rosenthal has served three terms as the President of CAGGNI and has been doing family research for over 20 years with Family Tree Maker and recently tracking his DNA.  Ed has presented his research during his family’s 150th and 160th reunion in Germany.

Ed has held positions with PepsiCo, Rockwell, Motorola and NEC with over thirty years of experience directing engineering and software projects. Previously, Ed has built several television stations and worked on TV shows such as Phil Donahue, Dinah Shore and Al McGuire with Sports.  He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a Master’s Degree in Project Management (MPM) from Keller.
