Beadweaving Monday, April 2 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. For ages 7 - 14 For thousands of years, people from cultures around the world have created beautiful woven beadwork. Led by artist Toni Carlucci, this workshop will teach you how to make your own work of art by weaving with beads. Once you start, you won't want to stop!
No registration required, but space is limited please arrive early to obtain a ticket.

Puppetpalooza Tuesday, April 3 TWO SHOWS: 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. All ages Join us for a special Spring Break Puppetpalooza! Enjoy new puppet shows, old favorites, dancing, singing, and more! No registration required. NOTE: This program will be in lieu of regular Tuesday storytimes.

Mini Golf Mania Tuesday, April 3 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Grades 3 - 6 It's time for some mini-golf! Come to the library to design your own playable mini-golf course. We'll compete through courses created by all participants. No registration required, but space is limited. Please arrive early to obtain a ticket.

Paws to Read Wednesday, April 4 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (Drop-in) Grades K and up Paws to Read gives patrons of all ages an opportunity to read and relax with a certified therapy dog while improving literacy skills. Participants sign up at the door for 15-minute sessions.

Kids' Crafts Wednesday, April 4 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (Drop-in) All ages Drop in our meeting room and get crafty. We'll have a variety of crafts for kids of all ages. No registration required.

Stranger Danger Thursday, April 5 10:30 a.m. Ages 4 - 8 Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office will educate kids on the dangers of strangers and teach specific techniques for protection against them. No registration required. Please pick up a ticket for this program at the Ask Us Desk.

Table Gamers Thursday, April 5 1:00 p.m. Ages 5 and up Join us for a special Spring Break Table Gamers event! Use your imagination, develop strategy skills, and make new friends, all while having fun playing board games. The library will have a variety of games to choose from. Participants are also welcome to bring some of their favorite games to play. No registration required.

Jiu-Jitsu Monday, April 2 6:30 p.m. Grades 5 through Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art known as the gentle art, yet one of the most powerful systems available. An instructor from the World Jiu-Jitsu Academy will demonstrate some basic moves and discuss the principle behind them. Participants will learn the execution of the moves as well as information on the practical application of the technique. No registration required.
