Author Notes

RaeAnne Thayne graduated from college with a degree in journalism. She soon became a reporter for the local newspaper and quickly moved up to editor. She developed a love of romances and sold her first book in 1995.

She has also won several awards and honors including: three-time Rita nominee, 2012 Colorado Romance Writers Award of Excellence, and 2010 RT Reviewers Choice for best Silhouette Special Edition. Her titles include: Light the Stars, A Cold Creek Secret, A Thunder Canyon Christmas, and Fortune's Woman. In 2014 her title Starstruck, as part of the book Together for Christmas, made Harlequin's Hot Romance List.

RaeAnne is also the author of the Haven Point Series. The fifth book in the series, Snowfall on Haven Point, made the New York Times bestseller list in 2016.

When Julia becomes foster mom to two brothers, Clinton and Davy (ages 8 and 6), her once-lonely existence is thrown into sweet upheaval. Thanks to a brood of nieces and nephews, Jamie's experienced with dealing with children, and his male presence is just what two little boys need. Over homework, dinners, family gatherings, and a bout of the flu, the four form an impromptu family that's as natural as snow in a Haven Point winter, but is threatened by the arrival of an aunt and uncle, Jamie's playboy reputation, and Julia's thin self-esteem. Librarian Julia Winston should have known better than to agree to rent the upstairs apartment in Winston House to her longtime secret crush Jamie Caine, head pilot for Caine Tech's jet fleet, even though it's supposed to be only for a few weeks. But she needs the money, and Jamie's sister-in-law is one of her best friends. Still, an unwanted attraction ignites, and when Julia agrees to take in temporarily two foster boys and Jamie lends a hand, the dynamics change, and things suddenly become a lot more romantic. A heroine determined to experience new things and a hero committed to helping her give in to love in this story that features a number of memorable supporting characters-the young boys are particular favorites. VERDICT Deliciously flirty and totally engrossing, this over-the-top charmer is an essential holiday read. Thayne (Serenity Harbor) lives in Northern Utah. © Copyright 2017.
