We're going to get literary at the library with a viewing and a discussion of Dead Poets Society (1989). Robin Williams' performance as John Keating earned him an Oscar nomination. The film touches on a group of students at an all-boys prep school in the 1950's and how an unorthodox teacher influenced their lives. The film also stars Josh Charles, Ethan Hawke, and Robert Sean Leonard. Discussion about the film will involve themes touched upon in the film and the writing, another triumph that earned the film an Oscar win.
