Through Our Eyes, The Women Veteran’s Experience features images and stories of local women who have served in the armed forces. The exhibit represents every branch of the service and women from age 25 to 100, highlighting the contributions women have made, and in growing numbers continue to make, in defense of our country.

This is part of a national program through the VA's “Diffusion of Excellence” initiative. Francie Mahoney, LCSW, Women Veteran’s Program Manager will talk about the project at a reception for the exhibit on Saturday, October 12, from 2-3 pm.

The exhibit will be on display at the Northwest Reno Library from Saturday, October 12-Friday, November 22.
